Acknowledgements

I  would like to take this time to thank some people who have been quite focal in my development as a show host and the development of Jazz in Flight.   Special thanks to the following individuals: Brenda Phillips, The Jazz Doctor - Sterling Watson, Emenari Lofton III,  Alice Brown, Yamaide, Sharon Masters, Sanchez, Andy Laws, the late Al "the barracuda" Smith and most importantly my husband/Co -Host/Producer Zimbabu.

I came into this role with concentrated knowledge of traditional jazz, bebop, swing, big band orchestra music; Zim you came with the Fusion, Funk and your Secret Sounds. As a direct result of your musical prowess, Jazz in Flight is a highly recognized radio show. I will always be grateful for the lessons you have taught me and will wave the banner proudly at all times.

Again, thank all of you for your contribution to my growth.

Peace and blessings to each of you.

Love,
Phoenix
