Personal Notes from the Desk of Phoenix Hamilton
On April 13, 2010 it was my pleasure to dedicate a
show to one of my lifelong mentors and family friend;
Mr. George Simmons. I have known him since I was
a child and he and his family; wife, Liz, children: Steven,
Sheila, Sharon, Suzanne, Sondra and grandchildren
have been a constant source of support to me and my family.
Mr. Simmons celebrated his 80 birthday on 04/13/10
and we, along with the his family, friends and the many
students he taught during his career as a CPS teacher,
celebrated his special day.
Mr. Simmons is an avid fan of jazz music, all kinds and
was the first person to introduce me to jazz music. I will
always remember and appreciate him for this and his
lifelong friendship.
It gives me great pleasure to introduce this "special
radio show." Feel free to click the link for a free download
